I got my hands on an early copy of Kimberly Johnson’s new book, Call of the Wild, and basically lost my mind. So much insight into the cultural impacts on women and their bodies, why the most intense solution isn’t the best, and why trauma is even more normal than we think… and may be very much in the way of understanding what we’re really craving.
Kimberly Johnson is a Sexological Bodyworker, Somatic Experiencing practitioner, yoga teacher trainer, postpartum advocate and single mom. She helps women heal from birth injuries, gynecological surgeries and sexual boundary violations. She is the author of early mothering classic The Fourth Trimester, as well as the upcoming Call of the Wild: How We Heal Trauma, Awaken Our Own Power, and Use It for Good.
