In Taylor’s opinion, people can begin healing themselves by being honest about their choices and how the choices they are making are or aren’t serving them. She teaches that people need to then give themselves some grace and begin working on healing.
When people feel like victims, they forget they have choices, so Taylor and Molly strongly agree that it is crucial to leave the victim narrative behind. As a big proponent of gratitude, Taylor practices it every day. Although you may have a long way to go, it’s okay and beneficial to hold gratitude for where you are right now.
During this episode, we’ll hear some of Taylor’s personal stories about how she felt out of place at church when she was younger, how she always sought a deeper meaning in life, and how she finally found what worked for her. As a former NFL cheerleader, she will explain how being weighed every week during that time affected her relationship with food and her body, and how she healed. Taylor will also define and explain how energy, frequency, vibration, and alchemy are relevant to her healing work.
- The role spirituality and religion play in overcoming addiction, and Taylor’s quest to find deeper meaning outside the church
- Taylor talks about what it was like learning and working in the field of exercise science while being a cheerleader in the NFL
- Taylor’s career trajectory from working for a well-known nutrition company to starting her own business
- How energy healing made a massive impact on Taylor’s life and career
- What is energy healing?
- Taylor discusses alchemy, energy, and what one can expect from alchemy sessions
- Owning full responsibility for your life does not imply that you created or contributed to the trauma you experienced, but it helps you to move forward, says Taylor.
- How do we know when we have completed the work of healing? Is it possible? And how do we avoid being a “healing junkie”?
- Taylor’s advice for people who don’t believe in God
You are made like nobody else in this world, which means you’re special, which means you are needed. – Taylor
I think we are all doing the work of stepping into our power, reminding ourselves that we are enough. This healing work doesn’t necessarily change you, it just makes you more of who you are. – Taylor
I believe in grace and moving through it, but there is also a point where you have to get to work and start being resourceful. – Taylor
We are allowed to have periods of being frustrated, being upset, having a pity party, but don’t stay there … How long are you going to keep energizing that narrative? How long are you going to keep telling yourself that same story? – Taylor
The truth is not fun. The truth is a frequency and when you start to tell yourself the truth, it’s freeing. – Taylor
