Menopause and Integrative Health with Dr. Suzanne Gilberg-Lenz

Molly and Dr. Suzanne talk all things integrative health. From the food we consume to the products we put on our skin, to the things we smell, hear, and the types of people we spend our time with. These are the things Dr. Suzanne says have a huge impact on our health and affect all areas of our lives all the time. She also discusses sexual health and the integration of mind, body, and spirit.

Dr. Suzanne discusses menopause and the downfall of our society in that it is hypervigilant against aging, especially towards women. Molly asks how women can help themselves get through these tough times we’re in? Her advice? Stop referencing yourself externally, then you get the opportunity to assess your own self. She also talks about the importance of self love and surrounding yourself with others who can share in your experiences.

So how can you go into perimenopause or menopause feeling prepared and empowered? Knowing the stages you’re going to go through, and the tools to deal with it, then you are less likely to be blind-sided. Because she’s done the work herself, she believes she is able to really help the people who reach out to her for her expertise.
