Women often find it difficult to make time for themselves and to explore the things they enjoy. On the podcast today, mindfulness and wellness expert Randi Zinn offers refreshing insight into how to let our natural inclinations guide us and why it is important to do this. As a result of her diverse life experiences, Randi is able to connect with and understand others, and she shares what she knows with us today. Randi notes that since we are products of a patriarchal society, we have to start small and not expect to transform ourselves overnight.
As well as working with individuals, Randi enjoys group work because she believes community is incredibly powerful. Sharing our stories with one another can be very healing and it can effectively combat the noise associated with being human. Randi notes that letting people know they matter and are safe is a gift.
Initially, Randi’s work focused on women who had just become moms, but she soon realized that the need for self-discovery and living authentically applied to most women, so she now serves all women who desire more abundance. During this conversation, Randi discusses her own unique journey connecting with her authenticity, how she began this work, and what she has seen women struggle with most. She also shares some tips on how to overcome negative self-talk and self-perception. Randi shares several nuggets of wisdom in this episode, and you won’t want to miss it.

Episode Quotes:
There are always going to be people who have to work multiple jobs to put food on the table, pay the rent and take care of their families. We understand that. Even within those scenarios, there are pivots and choices that are possible. – Randi

We are very convinced that something not working means we’ve failed … sometimes something blocking your path isn’t blocking, it’s actually gearing you in a direction you’re supposed to be going in or protecting you from something that might not have served your highest good if you continued down that path. – Randi
